Healthcare Practitioners and Social Work Personnel
Adaptive Behavioral Health, Inc. is pleased to offer a stress reduction program you can give to patients to address chronic stress- related illnesses, severe stress symptoms or panic attacks.
You already know chronic stress is a pervasive problem with no targeted treatment for managing stress as it occurs and few ways to address or treat this major health factor. The HUMAN Stress program directly addresses the cause and the effect of stress, helping people manage their stress more effectively as they experience it. Our programs are structured similar to a Smoking Cessation Program which helps people learn to use their physiological and behavioral symptoms to predict and prevent higher levels of stress.
Your introduction packet includes all the materials you will need if you decide to offer the program to patients. Below is an inventory of what is in the package.
The Patient Evaluation brochure for your waiting room titled, “Is Chronic Stress Part of your Life?”, will screen and motivate patients to self-select for this program.
- The Healthcare Practitioner brochure presents the steps you will take with the patient and the current available billing and coding information you need to get reimbursed for your time.
- The Chronic Stress Evaluation sheet will be used during the patient visit, follow up and for patient records.
- The one page description of the program and how it works and a full copy of the program provide the detailed information you need to review the Adaptive Behavioral Healthy Stress Prevention method first hand.
Patient Visit Protocol:
1st Visit: Patient screening and medical evaluation - offer the program. Patients purchase the program on the Prepare for Stress Website.
2nd Visit - Evaluate progress with program and changes in medical indicators. Make decisions for supportive anxiety medication or referral to Mental Health practitioner.
